As the new year opens we have to be mindful of all of the external and internal things that seek to stop our progress and our development! That which stops us from going forward or advancing in life is consistent with what it means to fail. When we sit back and take a deep look at the factors that tend to slow us down or hinder our progress we must keep in mind that true failure is really just an illusion! In fact the only way that you can actually ever fail is to just stop doing ,living, growing, or advancing in some way or another! Winning can never be done in one single stroke so it must be about growing from the struggle and using the event that may be slowing you as a trial and error method to get the logistics of what you really want worked out! Understand that if you grown from what may have slowed you down in your progressive movement forward that you are actually just mapping your future success from a moment of your present slow down! Use any and all failed attempts as a chance to get what you have been trying to accomplish or striving for. In the end you must strive to use the to potential stumbling block  as a personal teachable moment on how you can get things right so that you can win!

As the semester comes to a close it is important for you to take this time and reflect on what got you this far in your life? Realize that you are stronger then you might think that you are and the goal for you is to keep pushing on! Life will always try to through you some very hard obstacles but you must always remember that in the end that each and every obstacle is only there to make you stronger! You must learn how to hang on the ropes when things get tough and always remember that when the going gets tough that the tough get going! In the end having heart and displaying it in the face of great struggle will be the mark of who will win and who will lose!

If you are not truly prepared to do a thing in life, then your are not just failing yourself but you are failing others around you who will depend on you at a time of need. Always remember that the best investment that you can make in life is in yourself and the greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of preparation.

This is a great time to start a new business or become a partner and supporter of someone that you know who is attempting to do just that! While the future may seem somewhat uncertain, the goal is to help make it a little more stable by doing your part by applying your education to create knew knowledge and businesses in your local community! This month take the time to go to your local Chamber of Commerce and get all the information that you can on what it will take to start a business that will assist your community , city, and state in the economic recovery.
